This is half-pie.

We thought things were getting better, a little prematurely as it turned out.

Rosa slept well, very well, all night in fact without a break (we’d have a huge celebration if we didn’t suspect it was more down to the antibiotics than an increase in stamina). Bella slept well too, but the only oddity was her increased demand for hugs in the morning (which I didn’t mind too much – it was nice watching Kim Possible together on the couch).

But Bella’s demands grew louder and there seemed to be less we could do to help her: she appeared to be in pain. Another trip to the Doctor later, we have yet another bottle of antibiotic in the fridge and Bella has an ear infection. Fantastic. It seems that there are a number of virii doing the rounds this winter, leaving trails of secondary infections in their wake.

Rosa and Bella are getting better though. Slowly.
